One of the most important questions we get asked is “How much is my appliance repair going to cost?” So that you can make an informed decision, we have included our repair rates here. These rates do not include the discounts on offer.
Payment is due at the end of each visit. We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express Credit/Debit, Bank Transfer and Cheque. Credit/Debit Card payments are eligible for a 2.5% discount.
We offer a 10% discount on the Service Call, if the booking is made online.
We also offer a further 2.5% discount on the Labour Rate if payment is made by Visa, Mastercard or American Express (both Credit and Debit) during our visit.
The Terms & Conditions of Service explains further how this works.
It is understandable the frustration in not knowing what something will cost. We aim to complete most of our jobs within 1.5 hours of labour. This includes diagnostic, sourcing and collection of parts, repair and a testing cycle. If you have extra appliances or things for us to do, things may take longer. You can find other information in our FAQ.
You want to know how much a repair on your appliance is going to cost. While each repair is different, I want to give you certainty in labour pricing. With this in mind, if we are able to complete an appliance repair in your home, then the labour on that repair will be capped to 2.5 hours labour. Terms and Conditions apply so be sure to check those out.
These figures vary wildly between manufacurers, appliances and our supply network. In general, parts typically cost between $30 and $150. There are some exceptions, for example some motors and control electronics can cost more than this. If parts are going to cost more than $250 (or another pre-arranged figure), we contact you before ordering, to help speed up the repair process.
We get asked this question a lot, and it is not really something we can answer for you. Here are some figures to consider:
-Our minimum charge is $201 (if you qualify for all discounts, it is $186.98)
-We aim to complete the job in under $513 (service call, parts and labour. Discounted $495)
-Service Call & Labour is capped to $525 (with discount $502.88)
-We revisit if parts cost more than $250
This sets an upper limit of $775 (discounted $752.88). This puts a repair between approximately 13.5% to 55.5% of a new appliance (average $1400 appliance). Depending on the age of your appliance, this can be cost effective to repair.
These are just some of the major brands found around Canberra that we can repair. If your appliance has parts available, we can repair it.
