Repairs We’ve Carried Out in Belconnen

What the customer saw: The washing machine displayed an OE drainage error.
What we found: The drain pump was faulty. The drain spigot was clear.
What we did: Replaced the drain pump and tested the washer’s operation, including draining and spinning, with no leaks from the new pump.
Bosch dishwasher, Dunlop
What the customer saw: The dishwasher displayed an E15 error.
What we found: Water was leaking from the diverter valve into the base of the dishwasher.
What we did: Replaced the diverter valve and checked filling, washing, heating, draining and leaks. The dishwasher tested OK.
Simpson dryer, Bruce
What the customer saw: The dryer was not spinning.
What we found: The capacitor measured too low. The belt, pulley, motor and rear bearing tested OK.
What we did: Took the dryer down from the wall, replaced the capacitor and tested it, confirming it spun and heated.
Fisher & Paykel fridge, McKellar
What the customer saw: Water was leaking from the freezer.
What we found: A blockage in the freezer drain pan had caused it to ice over.
What we did: Cleared the ice and blockage with a steamer, checked water flowed to the rear drain pan and confirmed the fridge tested OK.
Franke oven, Strathnairn
What the customer saw: A popping sound on the grill setting, then the circuit breaker tripped and the oven would not turn on.
What we found: The main circuit board had a burnt track.
What we did: Replaced the main circuit board and tested the oven on full oven mode. The oven tested OK.
ILVE rangehood, Cook
What the customer saw: The fan would not run, and the lights flickered on briefly but would not stay on.
What we found: The button board buzzed and the fan relay would not stay engaged. The button board and power module were faulty.
What we did: Replaced the button board and power module, then confirmed the lights and all four fan speeds worked.
