Pick the Route That Fits

Most of what people contact us about has a faster path than a message and a wait. Find yours below — and if none of them fit, the enquiry form is further down.

A repair on a household appliance

Book it online. You'll see live availability, pick your own time, and save 10% on the Service Call Fee. No waiting for us to reply first.

A job we've already been out for

Reply to the email your invoice or booking confirmation came in. It carries your job number and everything we recorded, so nobody has to piece it together again.

No email handy? Use the form below and include the job number.

Warranty, property or partner work

Manufacturers, warranty providers, retailers, property managers and other service partners have their own route, including how to send work orders.

A small appliance for workshop repair

Microwaves, robot vacuums, air fryers and portable fridges are repaired on the bench, not in your home. You bring it to us in Fyshwick — register online first, then drop it in between 8 and 9am, Monday to Friday.

An inspection or written report

For insurance, a removalist, a managed property, or when a decision has to be documented rather than just made.

Replacing an appliance

Advice on what will fit, collection, installation and taking the old one away — handled as one job. If we've already diagnosed it, tell us and it carries on from there.

Wondering about pricing, parts, warranty or how a visit runs? Most of it is answered in the FAQ.

Ways to Reach Us

What Each Channel Is Best For

Online booking

Open any time, and the only channel that shows you real availability. Best for arranging a standard in-home repair without a conversation first.

Book a repair

Email or the form

Best when there's detail to send — a model number, an error code, a photo, a job number, or a question that needs a considered answer rather than a quick one.

enquiry@gbrs.com.au

Phone

Best when talking it through genuinely helps — working out whether something is worth repairing, or sorting out a job already under way. Our technicians are on the road, so the office picks up.

02 6190 0457

We're an appointment-based service, not an emergency one. Bookings run during business hours and we can't attend after hours. If an appliance is leaking, sparking or smells like it's burning, turn it off at the switch, isolate the water if that applies, and book us for the next available slot.

Send an Enquiry

Ask Us Something

For anything that isn't a standard repair booking. The more you can tell us up front, the fewer messages it takes to get you a useful answer.

Worth including

  • The appliance — type, make and model if you have them
  • What it's doing, and when it does it
  • Any error code on the display
  • Your job or invoice number, if we've been out before
  • Your suburb, so we know whether it's inside our service area

Prefer plain email? enquiry@gbrs.com.au reaches the same place, and you can attach photos.

We use what you send here to answer your enquiry and nothing else.

Where We Are

Fyshwick Base

24/105 Newcastle Street
Fyshwick ACT 2609

This is our workshop and the base the vans run from — it isn't a shopfront, and major appliances are repaired in your home rather than here. In-home service covers Canberra and surrounds, with no travel fee inside about 30 minutes of Fyshwick.

Dropping off a small appliance?

8:00am–9:00am, Monday to Friday

Those are the drop-off and collection hours, and they're the only times the counter is staffed for it. No appointment needed, but register online first and you save $10 on workshop labour.

Payment is taken when you hand the appliance over, and it has to go directly to a staff member — anything left outside hasn't been accepted for repair.
