From Our Job Records
What We’ve Found Diagnosing Artusi Error Codes
These are codes from our own Artusi jobs around Canberra and what we found when diagnosing them. In two of these jobs the cause was the sink drain connection, not the machine itself — a code tells us where to start looking, not which part has failed. If you have a code, tell us when you book — it helps us prepare for the visit.
| Code | Appliance | What we found |
|---|---|---|
| PUMP / !PUMP | AWD845W washer-dryers | A drainage blockage in both of our jobs. In one, a chain had jammed the drain-pump impeller; in the other, the pump was working and the sink drain connection was blocked. Clearing the blockage restored drainage each time. |
| E03 | AWD845W/1 washer-dryer | Restricted drainage: the sink drain connection hadn’t been drilled out properly. Drilling it out fixed the problem. |
| E01 | AWD845W/1 washer-dryer | Appeared at the start of the cycle. We found the door-latch sensor wasn’t working. |
| F15 | ARWD582WAU washer-dryer | Showed alongside a leak during drying. We found an electrical fault to earth in the dryer heating element and a hole in the dryer’s water reservoir. |
From Our Job Notes
Artusi Repairs We’ve Carried Out
A few real Artusi jobs from around Canberra — what the customer noticed, what was actually wrong, and how it was fixed.
Artusi washing machine, Denman Prospect
What the customer saw: The machine wasn’t draining properly.
What we found: The drain pump was struggling to operate, with no debris blocking its housing.
What we did: Replaced the drain pump assembly and tested the machine, confirming normal drainage and operation with no leaks.
Artusi dryer, Belconnen
What the customer saw: The dryer stopped with clothes still inside.
What we found: The rear fan belt had snapped. The drum belt, heater and thermostat tested correctly.
What we did: Replaced the fan belt and tested the dryer, including drum rotation and heating.
Artusi dishwasher, Braddon
What the customer saw: Water pooling inside the dishwasher and not draining.
What we found: The drain connection under the sink was blocked. The dishwasher’s filter and spray arms were clear.
What we did: Cleared the blockage and ran a wash cycle, confirming the dishwasher filled, washed, heated and drained correctly.
Artusi oven, Bungendore
What the customer saw: The oven lights needed replacing.
What we found: The LED globes had melted into their holders and couldn’t be removed, so the holders needed replacing too.
What we did: Replaced both light holders and globes, repaired the terminal insulation, and confirmed the lights, elements and fans worked correctly.
Artusi washer-dryer, Braddon
What the customer saw: Water leaking during drying, and an F15 error.
What we found: An electrical fault to earth in the dryer heating element, and a large hole in the dryer’s water reservoir causing the leak.
What we did: Assessed the repairs and recommended replacement. We then collected and installed the replacement washer-dryer, disposed of the old one, and tested both washing and drying.
Artusi rangehood, Denman Prospect
What the customer saw: The extractor fan stopped working, although the lights still worked.
What we found: The motor wasn’t operating, and the repair needed a motor assembly and button board.
What we did: Recommended replacing the rangehood given the repair involved. We installed the replacement and confirmed the fan ran and air discharged through the outside vent.
Examples from individual jobs. Similar symptoms can have different causes; diagnosis confirms the repair required.

What customers say about our laundry repairs
From our Google reviews, in the customers’ own words.
★★★★★“The technician, Benjamin Micallef, was very professional and friendly. I booked them to repair my leaking washing machine and stuck filter. Turns out it wasn’t the machine leaking but the drain under the machine backing up. Ben figured this out and fixed the stuck filter. …”
★★★★★“Ben was great. In no time he had our dryer repaired and operational and gave us some good advice into the bargain. …”
