What the customer saw: The cooktop displayed an FE error.
What we found: Testing confirmed an FE16 communication error.
What we did: Replaced the control board and interlink cable, then tested the cooktop. All cooking zones worked with no errors.

What the customer saw: Water was leaking onto the floor from the freezer.
What we found: The freezer drain had frozen over, and the freezer door rails were slightly misaligned.
What we did: Steamed the ice from the drain tray and opening, added a wire extension from the defrost heater into the drain, and adjusted the door rail. Water flowed to the rear drain tray and the door closed evenly.

What the customer saw: The dryer displayed F08.
What we found: The drum wasn’t spinning because of a motor fault.
What we did: Replaced the motor and tested the dryer, which spun and heated correctly.
Fisher & Paykel washing machine, Weston
What the customer saw: The washing machine went out of balance with heavier loads.
What we found: The drum was excessively bouncy, from worn suspension rods.
What we did: Replaced the suspension rods and tested a rinse and spin with a heavy load. The machine operated correctly.
