From Our Job Records
What We’ve Found Diagnosing InAlto Error Codes
These are codes from our own InAlto jobs around Canberra and what we found when diagnosing them. E3 has meant different things on different InAlto appliances — a code tells us where to start looking, not which part has failed. If you have a code, tell us when you book — it helps us prepare for the visit.
| Code | Appliance | What we found |
|---|---|---|
| E3 | Integrated dishwasher | The water wasn’t heating. We found an open-circuit heating element. |
| E3 | ITLW70W top-loading washing machine | A lid-open error. We found a broken lid and a faulty lid switch. |

InAlto Repairs We’ve Carried Out
A few real InAlto jobs from around Canberra — what the customer noticed, what was actually wrong, and how it was fixed.
InAlto integrated fridge-freezer, Dickson
What the customer saw: The freezer wasn’t holding its temperature.
What we found: Sealing foam around the freezer fan was obstructing the fan blade.
What we did: Trimmed back the displaced foam, reseated the fan and checked it spun freely, then tested the appliance and asked the customer to monitor its temperature.
InAlto integrated fridge-freezer, Dickson
What the customer saw: The display flickered, the fridge switched off shortly after starting, and it made an unusual beeping sound.
What we found: Faulty display and power control boards.
What we did: Replaced both boards and checked the compressor, fans and airflow gate. The temperature began dropping towards the selected setting.
InAlto oven, Bungendore
What the customer saw: The oven wasn’t heating on the fan-forced setting.
What we found: A faulty fan-forced element.
What we did: Replaced the element and tested the oven’s other functions, which all worked correctly.
InAlto dishwasher, Greenway
What the customer saw: The detergent dispenser wasn’t working.
What we found: A faulty dispenser that needed replacing.
What we did: Replaced the dispenser and ran a rapid cycle, confirming filling, spray-arm rotation, dispensing, heating and draining.
InAlto integrated dishwasher, Monash
What the customer saw: An E3 error, and the water wasn’t heating.
What we found: An open-circuit heating element. During the repair, a worn seal at the heater-to-pump connection also started leaking.
What we did: Replaced the wash pump and heating element together, then tested filling, washing, dispensing, heating and draining, with no leaks.

The team includes degree-qualified engineers, electricians, electronics specialists and holders of several Cert IV qualifications. We order InAlto parts direct from Residentia and can draw on their service documentation when a repair needs it.
Reviews we don't get to write
Every completed GBRS job triggers a feedback request through ServiceM8, and this feed is what comes back — across every appliance type and brand we repair. We don't write the reviews, pick which ones appear or take any down.
